GifLab ("we", "us", or "our") operates a free, browser-based media toolkit at giflab.base44.app (the "Service"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. 2. Your Files Stay Private

The core promise of GifLab is that your media files never leave your device. All image, GIF, and video processing — resizing, converting, compressing, cropping, and GIF creation — runs entirely inside your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API and JavaScript. We do not upload, transmit, store, or access the files you work with. When you close the browser tab, the processed data is gone.

Because your files are processed locally, we cannot recover them if you close the page before downloading your result. Always download your output before navigating away.

3. Information We Collect

We collect minimal information necessary to operate and improve the Service:

• Usage analytics: Anonymous, aggregate data such as page views, tool usage counts, and general geographic region (country-level). This data is not linked to your identity.
• Technical data: Browser type, device type, screen resolution, and referral source — used for compatibility testing and performance optimisation.
• Cookies: Set by Google AdSense and Google Analytics. See sections below for details.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifiable information unless you voluntarily contact us. We do not require an account to use any tool on GifLab.

GifLab displays advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
